Taxiway Lamp with Hardwood Base

Description

Authentic taxiway lights, retired from airport use. Each fixture was stripped down to bare metal, primed and repainted with the proper yellow and turned into a lamp. All the old wiring was replaced with new hardware including a vintage-style cord, plug and switch. Even added an 2.5 watt LED bulb. I mounted each one to a solid hardwood oak base custom made here my shop. The base is finished with Danish Oil. Each lamp base is 13″ in diameter, 26″ tall and weighs 13 pounds. (Note that oak is a natural product and not all the bases are an exact same color.) If you have any questions, please send me a note tony@frztees.com
